In 1977, the Sea-Dweller evolved with the production of the "Great White", it earned its nickname from the colour of the text on the dial.
What makes the "Great White" special to many collectors is that it was the last Sea-Dweller model to use a plexiglass crystal.
The MK2 Dial is arguably the most desirable with its "rail dial", which is the same style used on the 600-metre COMEX dials. They only did this for a 2-year stint, making this variant both rare and sought after.
This model is simply magnificent, and has had only one and only owner who has worn this watch for its entire career in petrol, it has a great history and has its original box and papers from 1979 !
