These first Tanks were equipped with black, burgundy or ivory dials with just the mention "Must de Cartier" and the famous two "C" intertwined at 6 o'clock with mechanical (very rare) or quartz movements.
The screw case of the "Must de Cartier" watch is in vermeil (gold-plated solid silver).
Symbols of prestige and tradition, the maker's mark and the solid silver hallmarks are engraved on the back of the case.
